Latest News - April 28, 2008 3:30pm (CDT)

The news today, is better. It has been told to Richard's family that imminent death is no longer the major concern. But that there will be a long recovery process. We have been told that he has survived the pneumonia, that his kidneys are stressed (but okay) and that he may experience periodic seizures. We have been told that these seizures are common and are not of major concern. Richard is in the process of being brought out of the sedative, and this too, will take some time (possibly up to a week). Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, I believe that they have been listened to.

Richard!!!! I just snuck in to see you at 8:55 pm. You would be happy to know that you have a team of Filipino nurses working on your behalf. As soon as you are up and with it you will have to work some magic and make some contacts. I already smoothed the way with Teresa (I think that is her name?) and told her that you are an immigration lawyer. But, of course, you will be able to charm everyone on your own.

Anyway, you're in my thoughts constantly and I hope we will be able to talk soon. Okay sugar! Besos, mike

Richard. Hi. I am at your office. I spoke with Stacy and she is sending you her best. She said she can't believe it because you were so high energy and bubbly last week. Everyone is praying for you! Hang in there :-)

Richard, sweetheart, I just now learned what happened. Please know that you are faithfully in my prayers. I will be checking in regularly to know how you are doing, but I have faith that you will be just fine in no time. There are too many people out there that need your help. Get well soon darling! Love and prayers, Maddy
